low and unpacked
I'm curious as to what kind of low jumps have been done unpacked. I;ve got low object jumps and unpacked jumps. I don't claim to be the most experienced in either area, but that's the point of this post. I'm considering going unpacked, a roll over or TARD, off a 200 foot S. I'm not looking to hear its a bad idea. I realize all of the negative comments that might be brought to the table. I'm looking for information that might support it being done. Having done some research I KNOW its been done. Anyone have any obsercation/data about unpacked VS PC or static line? Thoughts? Stories?

200ft rollover is not a problem at all unless your landing area requires a long flight. Lowest roll I did was from a 175S and I had just a hair over 4s ride. the only thing I did was set my brakes shallow.

Re: [prdstmnky] low and unpacked
My lowest jumps are a rollover from 150, and a tard from 175. I definitely would not recommend anyone doing a rollover from 150. I had a few things going for me on that jump including a nice grassy landing area sloped downhill amongst others things. I remember getting some nice groundrush from the 175' tard. There are many more things to consider when doing unpacked jumps (or any jump) than just how high the exit point is, such as technique, weather, and the fact that many unpacked jumps have poor heading performance.
