Whistler / Blackcomb Gondola
So I was up in Seattle over the weekend staying in a hotel. I was taking a gander at those tourist flyers in the hotel lobby and saw one for Whistler. I looked at it and opened it up. It said peak to peak and it sparked my interest. So what I found out by a little research is that there will be a gondola from the top of Whistler to the top of Blackcomb. Its 2.73 miles from end to end and 1.88 miles of unsupported cable. The highest point above the ground is 436m/1427 feet over Fitzsimmons Creek. It sounds like a pretty cool deal. Also There is a big ol' rock there as well I saw on Google earth, called The Black Tusk. I know nothing about it, is it do-able?
