The jumper was my wife. Her chute opened, just backwards. It'll happen to EVERYBODY eventually. Good luck!

P.S.- They just screwed a rod into her femur today and she should be home in a day or two.

after reading some of NickDG's comments about reporters, I wonder how many of these would have read "parachute failed to open correctly..." or some variation. the writer or editor got sloppy.

hope she gets better quick. glad it wasn't what the first report said. a 180 is much better than no canopy at all.
