Okay, for anyone who has any interest in freedom, it is imperative that you read the short yet informative article Gold and Economic Freedom. This same article can be downloaded here. This excellent article helps to explain the mystery surrounding the Federal Reserve Bank, monetary policy, and the gold standard. It was written by Alan Greenspan in 1966 before he was involved with the Federal Reserve Bank, where he sold out the idea of freedom and liberty to big government and statism.
