Bridge Day Video Fest 2008 - Winners
This year’s video festival was another great year with more of that ”grass-roots” style video production which goes to heart of what the video festival was originally created for; amateur videos shot and edited by those actually making the jumps. 1st Place - “Friends in High Places” by Elliot Barstow. Elliot has been a contestant in previous years contests and this year "wooed"

2nd Place. - "Why Do I Do This?" by Randy Persi. Best opening song choice to date; “If you going to be dumb you gotta be tuff!” and the footage to match. Carnage is always a crowd pleaser.
3rd Place - "A Shadows Tale" by Paul Duchesne. Another great BASE compilation with some amazing footage from all of our favorite objects in the US and abroad as well as some unique “bandit jumps”.
Honorable Mentions:
“Aerial Progression” by David Coco
“Gravity Rats, Out on Bail” by Teresa Colaluca
And a very sweet promo from Phoenix-Fly’s “Fly The Line II” which was not scored but certainly baited the taste buds for another epic production from Phoenix-Fly.
Thank you to all who participated in both a contestant and spectator capacity and played the games with us throughout the event. My personal favorite this year was the “spinner”, do a shot, then go find your panties!

Thanks to the judges Tom A, Andrew “alphabet soup” K, Tommy Bell and Matt “Punk” McClone. This year was our first year where the judges score cards were actually legible. Note to self… more shots during the show.

Special thanks as always to the Jason and Jen Bell, Bill Bird and the rest of the Bridge Day staff for making this year’s the best in recent memory and solidifying the popularity of BASE jumping at Bridge Day.
CU at Bridge Day 09!
