Hey all, this is a random question but I figured if someone would know it would be you guys.

Has anyone heard of or seen an article of an American jumping off the Burj al-arab hotel in Dubai around last year? Someone told me they did it and even showed me an article but its not available online anymore and people have subsequently told me I'm stupid for believing it.

Can anyone help me out please? Seems stupid but it's really important to me.

Not sure if it was te Burj al-arab hotel as the link is no good anymore but I think I remember that it actually was.

To quote the movie Superbad:

Thanks, wasn't the same instance im thinking of but appreciate it just the same. was an american in maybe 2006 or 7 35 year old... its all good, shows me the hotel has so much power and money that they dont want stories like these circulating so they must pay sites to take them down!

any more recent instances?

its an american, someone i know, trying to figure out if it was all true. saw an article but people say someone can fake an article
