Cooper's Law
This post is inspired by Godwin's Law, which stipulates: "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."]
I propose Cooper's Law, stated as:
"As a conversation involving at least one BASE jumper carries on, the probability of someone using BASE in a pseudo-intellectual analogy approaches one."]
The law is named after Michael Cooper, who was the first to recognize the similarity between Godwin's Law and the annoying habit among BASE jumper to apply BASE inspired metaphysical bullcrap to all facets of life.
For the record, I'm well aware I'm one of those annoying BASE jumpers myself, as anybody who has ever climbed the Chief with me will confirm.
