I found this fictional documentary of U.S. foot soldiers in Vietnam to be incredibly chilling... They are not burning villages or killing civilians, but are battling for their lives against the North Vietnamese.

Sometimes it's a good reminder to people to be aware of what war really can entail. Not certain if this thread will get removed but I don't think it's inappropriate. I first saw the complete film on PBS during prime time hours.

Here's Roger Ebert's take on the movie. He gave it a pretty decent review. It was one of the few "point of view" movies that had been made up to that time (1989).

For a movie like this to even rate a review from Roger Ebert was impressive on its own. Check it out.
