Going there soon and wondering if I should bring a rig.

Figure there's no locals seeing as there aren't even any DZs in egypt.

Wondering if anyone has been there and what if any potential they saw for jumping? Any idea what attitudes might be like? I know bribery works well there (getting in buildings) but egyptian jail doesnt sound fun...

i believe one prominent jumper who is frequently on this forum is in Egypt.

There is a high enough observation tower on the Nile Island. They do check bags on entry though. So, good luck. And also, find an escape car after landing.
