A base jumper has been fined NOK 30 000 for base jumping from the mountain Trolltindene, in Romsdalen, Norway.In addition to the hefty fine, the court decided to confiscate his parachute and jumpsuit, which is worth NOK 32 000, according to the owner.

That in total is close to € 7000.....

Just need to run faster!!

All you have to do is run faster than your jumping partner. Just like if you were running from a bear, you need someone running slower than you.

Rule number one!

Dont land on a police car ;-)

..there is no need to land on one of those big field, outtrack the tallus and pull low and land bellow the wall..and don`t use a flashing canopy...this can save you for one of those fine.
And if you can`t outtrack this wall...i suggest you guys to stay away from it..or buy a wingsuit

I guarantee you all that NO BASE JUMPER alive today can run or hike faster than Hestad!

 

Actually, I think Andreas the Giant might stand a chance against him in a hike off but I'll take the bet anyway! Would love to see a landing area to landing area hike/jump race between a couple of loony Norwegians.
The starting count would have to be "3...2...1...I AM LEAVING!"
