EXTREME ATHLETE
Hi

I work for a documentary production based in London, UK.

We’re currently developing a primetime documentary series following extreme athletes achieving human 'firsts' and / or breaking existing records for high-adrenaline sporting feats.

I’m looking for individuals who are pushing the boundaries of human possibility and wondered if anyone on BASE JUMPER FORUM knew of any upcoming, awe-inspiring skydiving, diving, climbing (etc) projects or could recommend any extreme athletes at the top of their game?

Your input would be really appreciated!

You can email me directly at: alice@firecrackerfilms.com or give me a call on: 0207 349 3405

THANKS

Re: [A_FF] EXTREME ATHLETE
good luck. I few folks might contact you.

I find our premise a bit confusing/amusing. people who push true limits place themselves at risk. the priority must be survival.

adding a production crew can distract these people from safety and towards imagery. it would cause them to risk less.

I simply can't imagine Sir Edmund Hillary summiting Everest with a camera crew in tow...

I remember one skydiver who survived a nasty accident. a local news station desired to film the "first jumps since..." the skydiver agreed, but secretly did the first jump before the camera crew arrived. they simply were limiting the variables to manage risk. the camera crew never knew different...
