Prism/Velcro
Does anyone like the look of this? I'm not keen on it and think it serves zero purpose.

My plan is to take the velcro off and stitch a thin piece of material on the bottom flap to hold my bridle in place.

Suggestions?

Velcro, For (stowing) Bridal routing, right ?
Asking about the ( Length ? )

It is a little long and maybe if you were throwing your PC out in a 'total head-down', on body position. The shear 'strait pull strength of the total length of it (might) be to much for it to peal off. ( maybe ? ).
I would do just a small stow-tab of Velcro under the side of the closing flap to stow the bridal routing.

and if you are talking about something totally different than I am thinking of. Just disregard .

Re: [RayLosli] Prism/Velcro
The Prisms are so old now I don't actually remember what Todd was thinking with that but it might be there just for hand held pilot chute jumps.

Just call Todd at Apex @ (951) 940-1324 or email him at todd@apexbase.com and ask him.

Especially if you are going to start sewing things on it. There could be some things he knows that you aren't considering.

Re: [NickDG] Prism/Velcro
The purpose was to hold the bridle when routed for stowed jumps. The velcro was non-shriveling and someone (if memory serves it was Dwain Weston) complained that it might cause a hesitation during a head down deployment, which was a concern for low aerials. BR changed the standard to the tuck flap there as a result of this concern.
