I have no idea about the exact circumstance of this fatality... and I am in no way taking a shot at this jumper...

But all I know is that a low pulls can be prevented in most situations.

You can only have insane fun and live our wonderfull lifestyle while we are alive.

Lets remember that at pull time...

Ben was an absolutely beautiful person, free soul and most of all, a great friend. Always smiling and always having so much fun. The comforting thought on this dark hour is that he left us doing what he absolutely loved the most. As somebody already wrote on this topic, this sad incident and many others underline the fact that altitude awareness is the key of survival in all base jumping. I out of all people should know this since just month ago from the same exit that got Ben I walked away from horribly low pull that could have easily ended the other way. So please everybody, try to be as safe as possible and fly hard, watch that ground and pull high enough.
