canopy heading factors
Routinely have jumped a 245 vtec for years. Nearly always have onheadings with it. the notorious banana canopy for those who have been around a decade or more. Recently i have been jumping 265 fox vtec, and am surprised if I open within 30 degrees of on heading. Last jump two nights ago had about 120 or so on 270' freestander that sharpened my skills. I weight 155 lbs. Anybody here have opening problems when jumping a canopy that is perhaps under-loaded?? I know there are dozens of other factors involved but question whether too much fabric for too little mass is a problem. shoot me
