Has anyone ever BASE jumped off Empire State Building in NY?

Yes, Mike McCarthy and Alisdair Boyd, 2 Brits, in the mid 80's.

Got picked up by the cops when they touched down but I dont know if they were charged with anything.

There is some film of it knocking about somewhere.

I think I heard that Thor Alex Kappfjell,
#43 on the BFL, had also jumped it.

and som "anonymous" jumped with Thor Alex

and j.c. should get an honorable mention. 1/2 way is not 1/2 bad.

99.9% of the buildingong getting jumped in NYC are done so by the cover of darkness and few know of them .
the truth is know one knows who jumps anything but the people that do it them selfs

so if u want to jump the ESB get off your ass and do it .
but trust me it takes alot of work to do it and get away with it.

by the way I noticed u just regesterd today good trying to catch me . I'm a fucking Ninja Ghost

And they would have got away with it except Mike's canopy got hung up on a traffic light. Even then, they almost got away after some quick thinking. They told a cop who showed up they were shooting a movie and the cop should go talk to the Director (and pointed out some hapless passerby in the crowd).

They hopped into cabs and blew the scene, but caved into the publicity angle and appeared a bit later on the Johnny Carson show . . .

Umm, looks like a French site to me....

It's probably a good thing that he wasn't using a modern day 9" bridle. His was already touching his right foot in that picture.

Same guy, and from what i remember, the same year in France.

He also bagged the Leaning Tower of Pizza.
