Id like to hear opinions on various models. Im thinking of getting a new suit and the price and delivery time, along with what ive seen at dzs makes the tonysuit look really good.

I have jumped every model of Tony Suit's wingsuits in the skydiving realm. Look into a wing called the Apache. It is Tony's BASE specific wingsuit. I am not sure if it is out in production yet. But when I jumped it down in Clewiston it had great forward drive with slow vertical speeds. The pressurization was great as well. Overall this suit has a huge range.

Do you know what the difference is between the apache, and the Raptor?

The raptor has a much wider leg wing as well as larger arm wings. I notice they both have a wide range of performance, but the raptor is much floatier. I can get great forward speed in the raptor with a slight bow in the leg wing. But with the apache, I noticed that the forward speed is already there hauling ass. In my opinion the apache is in close proximity with the v-2. Not the same wing, but similar.

well i saw quite a few base jumps on a apache...
and from my point of view it was flying slow.
nowhere near the forward speed of a v2(i fly one).
but then again it was flown by one of these strange belgians...
pilot switched to a v2 meanwhile by the way(brand war trivia facts).

edit. i'm really not bashing tony suits here. never flown one.

well...
i also suck and i still think the v2 is faster.
all these comparisons...i smoked him...etc. fom i plane in a big open sky-- i don't think it means much.
base is not skydiving.
jump from rock and see for yourself who you can smoke there.


now that i think of it...i maybe even think my phantom was faster forward. but i'm fat so everything you put me in develops fastness...

Thanks for all the replies, hopefully ill get to try one out myself, maybe a raptor, in the future, and post the results here. So far have only based my s3 so an upgrade will be nice regardless.

I've been basejumping the Mach 1. Jeff N from Tony said i'm the only one baseing that suit. Has any one else based the mach 1? Tony suits are the sh*t

I am wanting to purchase the supermach one and base it, but with a mod to the base pouch.

I was thinking i want the pouch at 45 degree angle on my ass for easier extraction ( i know the jokes are on their way now)

How is your BASE pouch setup, standard?

no pouch, the wing is so big that it would be harder to reach it than just using the boc. And i've never had a problem pulling with my base rig but i have missed skydiving only cuz my rigs are smaller. maybe putting it on your ass is the way to go with the s mach one. what suit are you using now?
