Trango Canopy -slider off/down
I know the atair trango is not recommended for slider-off jumps, mainly because of the spectra lines creating heading performance difficulties, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with jumping the trango canopy slider off, and what their experiences are/were.

Are there additional reasons to be concerned about slider-off jumps with this canopy other than heading performance issues form the spectra lines?

why bother you say? well I will be traveling long and light and though I'm looking at primarily big-wall jumps there is a possiblity for some shorter jumps too but not sure if I can bring a second canopy.

thank you.

Re: [DrThrill] Trango Canopy -slider off/down
Trango is light BASE canopy created and tested for subterminal & terminal BASE jumps. It is not recommended to jump the canopy without slider simply because it is not meant to be made for such type of jumps.
The canopy will save you if you jump but you may expect some changing on the spectra lines, possibly so that canopy goes out of the correct trim too.

If you really want to jump it ,well, good luck, you will feel the spectra lines and hard opening too.

All that we experienced on few Trango sl.down jumps, so the facts are from first hand.
