Lost ladder and hacksaw
Found:
One ladder tangled on the barbed wire fence and one hacksaw on the ground at our local A in Las Vegas. Owner is presumed to be an arogant asshole who has no respect for the sport and is ruining this A for the rest of us. If the owner reads this post all I have to say is Fuck You!

Re: [freeflychris] Lost ladder and hacksaw
Could have it been vandals or thieves? Did a BASE jumper find the stuff? Another jumper friend of mine found the spot on his local object where somebody CUT the razor wire out and left in on the ground in plain sight!!
this shit needs to be cut out (pun intended), but seriously folks, some people are selfish arrogant pricks.

Re: [nicrussell] Lost ladder and hacksaw
No they used the hacksaw to cut off the lock.

Re: [freeflychris] Lost ladder and hacksaw
Did you check the whole LZ for a body? Could have been a suicide?

I could see some douche bag hacking the lock, but why the fuck would anyone leave behind a ladder? Just doesn't make sense to drive it all the way out there and then leave it...

if you remember the type of lock it was - why not soil an identical one in the desert for a bit to get it in the same shape as the old one and put it on - at least that gives you the chance of workers thinking that it just seized and replacing it vs. figuring out unauthorized access.

on a different note, with the so many assholes around trying to steal copper for scrap, it's quite likely that the arrogant asshole is just that - a scrap thief. Is it not a remotely located metal object ?

Just kidding but yes your right thats BS the other day I went to go flick my local A and someone
cut my lock off the gate to the road that leads up to the A and put a driffrent one on.

Which meant I had to walk up the hill to the A
some ones head needs to role over this

Re: [1072] Lost ladder and hacksaw
hey man..just a tip, next time..use a chainsaw, less sweaty than a hacksaw...and while you are at it..cut down some trees too...don`t forget to put it on youtube.

Re: [johan420] Lost ladder and hacksaw
See attached. Works way better than hacksaw. Additionally, it makes quick work of those bothersome crossbracing tubes at the exit.

what an idiot! if they just carried a plasma cutter out there they wouldn't have needed the ladder or the saw. just cut the entire fence down and stroll in like you own the place. i'm sure they zip right through locks as well. damn...the stupidity on some folks.
