I´m so sad about this tragic occurance I ´m from the region around Meiringen and met a couple of jumpers on saturday. Where did Gus come from? I fear the worst... Does anybody know more?
It was a tragic Sunday.

Gus was a really good friend of mine. If any of you guys have recent photos etc I would love them. Also, do you know who was with him?

I'm so sorry to hear this. My friends and I met Manu at ITW last summer. We showed up with no idea how to find the exit point. Manu and one other local jumper spent the week with us, showed us where to eat and sleep, and even shared another exit point with us. My condolences to family, friends, and the community.

Manu was a great man, a real friend and a very skilled jumper!
I met him first on 2002 when he wons the Italian Skysurf Nationals...
Since then we always had one habit: when we met and we jumped together, after we've landed, skydiving or BASE jumping, each time I took from him one cigarette and we smoked together before to pack...
That's how I remember him: smiling and smoking that fucking cigarette...
Goodbye bro, you'll be always in my heart on the exit point!
