Antenna + wing suit?
Hi there!

Any hot tips for A+ws jump?
Or any "good to know stuff"

careful on the exit if it's real windy. you'll have to figure out how open your legs/arms need to be to stay balanced the first couple of seconds. staying fully closed on exit never worked for me.

That (heavy) tail wind is one of the things what I have been thinking...

So guys what kind of tail wind is still ok for a big WS (I have V2)?

And the A what I planig to jump (some day in future) its about 1000ft

300 m is not much hight with a V2 from a antenna! How is the landing area? With tail wind you need to dive out like you do from a airplane, very much like vkb do their tracking jumps!

I'm also very keen on hearing experiences that people have regarding A's and wingsuits. We are talking about A's in the range of 1000ft / 300m. How long delays are you able to get from those heights? How much extra distance covered compared to tracking jumps? How about jumping with prodigy?

Thanks for the input!

I videod a guy jumping KL towers with a WS. Exit is 980+/- and he made it to the water tower landing area. Note that the landing area is a little lower than the base of the tower itself.

Thanx already to everyone!
Yeah 1000ft/300m is a bit low -I know...

But still I think that there is really good chance to douple dealy and distance vs. track jump...

Am I totally wrong or is it possible?

Everything is possible, but the hassle with wingsuit from a antenna, contra having a nice track watching the wires going by is so good! + the hell of a good groundrush you dont get from the cliffs!

I never jumped the V2 in more than a 5mph tail. I've done the prodigy in 10-20 and it gets kinda scary around the 15-20mph mark.

IMO 1000ft isn't worth a wingsuit, especially if you're climbing it.

I did a V1 jump with a 10-15 tailwind from 1750 on a local tower. no problems. go head-lowish, and fly it from there.

With a V2 you can get some good distance from the tower I have done a bunch of sub 1000 foot wingsuit jumps and love them. Just be sure you are comfortarble getting your arms out of the suit fast, be current in BASE jumping the suit hopefully with a history of many jumps on the suit, set your brakes properly for the jump, jump in the right conditions, be prepared to improvise very quickly, make sure it is really worth it to you to add the extra risk because there is alot. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
