I have not met to many BASE jumpers most people just say there base jumpers but only jump legal objects or antennas in the midddle of noware at 4 am

You know, how many people who are out there bashing Jerry actually have jumped with him, or even in nyc?

I never have a bad time hanging out with Jerry (jumping or not), and my degree of crazy is much less than his... My BASE ethics are a lot different too, but I enjoy jumping with all types in this sport.

He's a competent jumper, a horrible speller and a good entertainer. He also is a very hospitable local when you come visit.

Everyone rushes out to defend Jeb, and bash felix, but then go on to crucify Jerry... Even people that don't jump!

Perhaps if that fucking piccola kid could spell better, or actually put his thoughts into a coherent sentance, he'd actually be liked.

Nah, fuck it, I know he doesn't care who likes him. So I won't defend him, he is an asshole.

attatched is a pic of Jerry at the exit point of a new E people are working on.... He has technical skills too.

my main experience with him is on these forums. he presents a very antagonizing presence. he apparently enjoys ruffling feathers. even the picture you posted depicts him flipping the bird.

that sort of persona naturally attracts attacts and criticism. heck, he might simply laugh at it all.

I also remember seeing him at one BD demonstrating skills and providing assistance to others. I assume he has other positive qualities. I think it is a shame he chooses NOT to use them here.

I've jumped Jerry! It was Moab2005. He was a little busted up and I talked him into taking a few more Vicodin than he really needed. He just layed there and moaned. It really wasn't that entertaining until he woke up the next morning and I told him about it...

I am a sissy skydiver with a low number of jumps and only 2 "base" jumps off the bridge. But when I grow up I wanna be just like maggot.

Skydivers seem to be turning into pussies lately but maggot is old school...the way it should be. BASE is badass, keep it that way. Rock on dude.

My only comment not truly knowing him. Was he and his crew not the ones whining a bitching and throwing a fit about Jebs attempt? Some how Jeb is an ahole and Maggot is not for both bringing undue attention to BASE in NYC? I guess I am pretty bland but I wish them both well and stay safe little ones.

Ok I get that but your not the only BASE jumper in NYC so arent you shitting in all the other NYC base jumpers back yard??? To be honest I don't think you or Jeb really hosed anyone. Just good to be consistent. NYC cops have a lot of other things to do than look for BASE jumpers. Be safe.

I actually wish BASE jumping was the most serious crime for law enforcement to worry about. And that doesn't imply that I want the severity of BASE to increase, just the other real crimes to decrease to that level. Never going to happen I know, but it would be nice.
