well title says it all. what can you tell me about it?
general personal experiences with the hybrid top skin?
flight, openings etc.
my size is in the 293 to 308 range, no multi, no 5th control line. i have about 300 jumps on 293 vtec fliks.

do you think the multi is mandatory with the hts?
the black jacks with the zp option also only have a single point attachement, don't they? on the other hand some really funky openings i saw were on black jacks...
i could see the use on full zp topskin,but just the front?
did you ever jump it without the multi for comparison?
i only have a couple of jumps on a 265 fox with vents, multi and 5t control line. not enough to really forge an opinion. but the few were alright. on the other hand the owner of said canopy meanwhile removed the multi because it caused several problems over the time.
speaking of flight performance...how does it compare to all f111(not only glide). because i sometimes already am amazed how that flik glides. and opens....and pretty much everything else.

I don't know if this helps, but-

I have a flick 266 Vtec, no hts and a flik 182 hts, no vtec. ALso own a rock draggon 266 vtec, but anyway...

If I had it to do over again, I'd have the hts on all the canopies.

I freepack the flik 182 in my skydiving wingsuit rig and it opens great (super fast). Now, I am loading it pretty high, so it doesn't perform as docile as a base canopy, but it flies, flares and sinks pretty well.

Packing it is no more difficult IMHO... So had I got that one 1st, I'd have it on my BASE canopies.

The 266 flik vtec performs great, and I imagine it would only perform better if I had the hts on it...

What I want, and hopefully can justify in the next year is one of those OSP canopies.... I'd like to hear more about them. Seems pretty cool...

You could say that about every canopy on the market today. Every canopy has not always had a perfect nonfunky opening. Current Weather, Weather when packed, handeling care (are you leaving it in your trunk, kicking it around etc...), how did you pack it, etc...

I have seen great openings and bad openings on most canopies I have observed.

A better statment might be that a few? BJ openings were "funky." But that does not mean much in the grand scheme of things... you have to look at the long term statistics.

Oh I have a BJ 260 and love it, II also love my dagger 266 and have also jumped a few Fox's. I have come to the conclusion that I would jump just about any BASE specific canopy on the market today.
