Owner and opperator of the Ranch skydiveing club in Gardiner NY herd that Sonic was hosting A FJC there and bringing in The Talent Of Miles -D to attract customer's. In an atempt to boost sales of his skydiveing rig the baser AKA peace of crap.
the FJC was shot down by the the DZO. I beleave he said something to the effect of your not even a base jumper u know nothing about base jumping and im not going to let u get people hurt or worse killed just so u can make a buck.
he also said somethig like its not base if your doing it out of a plane u putz.

whom did you hear this from?

tis a shame because Miles is a really good teacher.

Ive been using one out here in nor cal for the past few weeks, and Id have to say I like the container. I see nothing wrong with it, and the extra weight of the tso harness isnt noticable.
Tree, whats your problem with it? There is absolutely no reason to talk shit about a container I bet you havent even jumped. you think you are some kind of authority on containers? what are you the container man? do you even contain any knowledge of containers? hahahaha shut the fuck up...

I have never seen this rig in real life.. but if someone like MilesD with more than 2000 base jumps use it...would feel quite comfortable for buying one of those toys..

The main problem I see with it is the cost. A complete Baser system with the chest reserve is about $4500-5000. There wouldn't be any point in having a TSO'D harness/container wi/o the reserve system. You could buy a top-notch base rig from about any of the other manufacturers for about $3000 and a new dolphin w/reserve for about $1500. plus it wouldn't be a round canopy in a chest container.

His prfoblem is its not abase rig its a skydiving rig with a TSO wich means its regulated by the goverment.
so if u want a bar coded on your far head and vote for higher taxes then its a great rig.

ANd one more thing the guy who makes it doesn't base jump.

and the only reason miles jumps it is because $$$$$$$ yes hes makeing money off it.

First off this response has NOTHING to do with Miles. However, my heroin dealer has shot up 8000 doses of the H-bomb and seems quite comfortable in that product. Good idea? "Your choice." The most basic and most important two words in BASE jumping. Don't be that impressed with pure jump numbers. Miles has skills, Miles has most probably been lucky, YOU ARE NOT MILES. (unless of course you are, but you are not, cuz you don't read this shite.)

I had to keep feeding beers to an already drunk "Jester"at Bridge Day 1996 to learn to pack.
