Italian Music?
Hey there all you soprano's out there,

I'm trying to work on my Italian here, but I'm all out of Italian music to listen to and dissect. I'm looking for suggestions for more good Italian artists that I might be able to find easily on, say, Rhapsody or iTunes. I've listened to just about as much Subsonica as I can stand (though I think they're great). Time for some new material.

Thanks in advance Smile

hehe.

I tried learning Spanish that way too, but I couldn't stand the music. Then I tried keeping the TV tuned to a Spanish language station while I slept, but that didn't work either . . .

Jovanotti
Eros Ramazzotti
Antonello Venditti
Raf
Laura Pausini (ugly)
Tiziano Ferro (ugly too)

(these singers are good for learning, not so much 4 listening... Tongue )

Re: [freeflysoul] Italian Music?
Haha yea, I ran across Laura Pausini and just as her first album came to an end, I found myself cowering in the corner with a pencil in my hand, mere seconds away from stabbing myself repeatedly in the eyesocket.

But I learned lots of Italian from it Smile

But thanks for the suggestions, everybody, it's been a great help. Now anyone got any good rock bands? Cool

Contact Maestro, Mucho BASE team member. He is a composer and can play anything on anything. He was playing only banjo, guitar and harmonica this weekend though. He has been working on some weird Doppler effects called "Harmonica BASE" combining freefall and harmonica. hope this helps.
Take care,
