Locals in Santiago Chile
I am a very experienced jumper and will be in Santiaga Chile March 30th to April 6th attending the FIDAE airshow. Although I will need to get some work done, I can make time to get away and make a jump or two. Are their any locals that can help. Let me know so I can bring my rig.
Gracias!

Re: [bps] Locals in Santiago Chile
I think is late for answer you mail, near (one hour driving) Santiago and Viña del Mar, has 2 low bridge that I jump, with really good landing area and easy to arrive the spot.
Has another bridge at 300 kilometer to the north of Santiago, is 104 meters high. The problem is the wind, but early morning you has more possibilities to jump.
In the south, as a train bridge of 103 meter high.

The only cliff that I jump here in Chile, is really easy to arrive, but you must think in "landing" in cold water. To go back, you must think in use "ascender" in a rope, or walk about 3 hour between rock and water.

If you back to Chile, email me.

If I remember correctly I have seen a pic on the cover of skydiving, where somebody exited with a surfboard from a cliff. In the Bío Bío valley, SE of Concepción. The description of this valley leads me to think there must be more high cliffs. Good rafting too.
