The Hangout

random quote
THERE is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more
-Lord Byron

When I read this, I picture standing atop a cliff thousands of feet tall, sparsed among cumulus clouds passing. Maybe even a few passing in a valley below. A rich sea is in the distance, under a vivid blue sky. Greens and blues and browns and whites all in an array of unmistakable beauty.

I can see this is my head as I have since I can remember dreaming as a child, as I have many times since. I do not think I can ever fully describe in words what I seem in this dream. I can not imagine what it would be like to not be able to dream in color. Maybe it would feel like I died inside?

At times I think I could go and live off the lands on my own, but then I would also be seperated from another love. One that brings me closer to that very same love.

Nature and BASE are both things of beauty and I can not be away from either.

What makes you think you have to chose? I find no conflict.
