[OT] Skydives in Lauterbrunnen
Hi,

I hope this question is not to off-topic for the Hangout.

I accompany BASE jumping friends to Lauterbrunnen. Since I do not BASE jump I'll enjoy the "half hikes" with them.

I read that the helicopter service offers tandem jumps - do they lift skydivers as well? I'd love to fly over Lauterbrunnen.

Thank you! I also found SkyDive Xdream who drop in Lauterbrunnen.

So it seems like Lauterbrunnen is not a place for BASE only... Smile

Looking very much forward to flying Wingsuit in that aerea...

if you're not to obsessed with lauterbrunnen, there are a couple more dropzones.. including some where you could go up on the one, and land on another, if you fly your wingsuit well.. Smile

WOW! But I'd need some wind to make it. ;)
(remember? Skydivers only use the upper 10kft... ;))

or you're lucky and can get on a 18'000ft dive.. Tongue

seriously, i think you'd have to have jumped at both dz's, notify the one as the other as well.. i've been told its been done before, but dont have details to it..

that was me....Wink

best is no wind conditions, otherwise you can make it only in one direction.
you can cheat a little. on the triengen jumprun you have to jump first, end of sempachersee, about 5.5km from 3200m AGL. on the beromünster jumprun you jump last, about 8km from 4000m AGL.
(see picture)
it's not easy, but doable.
please talk to pilots and gound staff of both dropzones before attempting...
carry a cellphone.

have fun
