you sure get around for someone with no money

I knew someone would bring that up.
getting around is easy, when someone else buys your plane tickets. this one is all expense paid, good friend since 5th grade-her mom getting married, being that I spent most of my middle and high school time with her family, and they are pretty well off, they bought me a ticket to BVI to be a groomsman. If I was responsible, I wouldn't go, I'd stay here and make money. but i'm not responsible. and I have never been out of country. so I'm going.
I'm so far in debt, drug dealing is getting fairly attractive. but how I have been making money for the last 6 months is also Illegal. not quite as punishable, or looked for, but Illegal none-the-less.

SO, should I bring a freaking parachute?

the goal with the sailboat was to do a world BASE tour, sail around to norway, brazil, Thailand, etc and BASE everything. it would be AWESOME to land next to the Argonauta under canopy.

HOWEVER, our boat is shit. the three of us bought it for 17,000 USD, student loan for me, and Navy bonuses for the other two guys. (one is a BASE jumper) we owe about 3 grand in slip fees that we have been a bit behind on in our old marina. sailboats need fuel now and then, and its $500 to fill her up.
On the last trip we blew up the mainsail in a storm as well as breaking a shroud almost losing the mast, and the motor took a crap on us. we need 5000 $ to fix her, and that wont happen until I get another job or the TBI scholarship starts to consider open ocean sailing an educational experience. the later probably wont happen.

so... who has hit the 73meter? anyone? microwave? any info? that site does not have specifics.

no Autopilot. easily the most valuable part of a open water boat.

with three people you shouldn't need auto pilot, if your solo yea, you can use wind auto pilot, there like 300 to 500 usd or find use for lot cheaper
