In general, how is the weather and access/approach to the less advanced exit points around the 1st of April?

obviously its a month away and anything can happen, but...great conditions last year...spring snow conditions. some 2prong crampons (intersport lauterbrunnen) were a nice help going to lamousse and nose with ease, but i;d jump with them on...and not stuffed in your pocket
