Is this limited somehow? E.g., only certain countries, etc. Any more info would be great.

ThanksSmile

Are they willing to pay for education with a “work contract?” I'll give them 5 to 10 years if they cough up 200K to pay for my med school. TongueLaugh I’d be more than happy to learn Norsk!

I dont know the emigration rules, but for EC members it is easy! For US, Australia and New Zealand etc it also should be no problem. If you look up the Norway embassy in your country, you should be able to see what it takes for a work permit visa! Mail the office with your resume, and what you can and want to do if you want more information about how to get work in Raume from www.nordveggen.no

Cool! I'm a US citizen living long term in South Korea. This would be a nice way to relocate, learn one more language and maybe pursue my BASE dreams (legally, of course!Wink)

If you go north of norway you have special terms, and tax! Half tax in Finmark.

Downside: winter is long and hard an not everybody is willing to hike or climb, fly and land in snow and ice.

The norwegian spring can be very wet and variable until end of june, but if then the summer is coming the nature is exploding Smile

and don't forget: the only real metropolis is oslo, most other cities have small town character.

P.S. ....and i will not forget the darkness in winter, was the hardest for me.
At this time, i stand in norway, i had nothing to do with jumping, but i was hiking.

You are right this place is not for pussies Wink Well Im joking, there is 3 hard montsh where you can have fantastic winter weather, and nice skiing! The spring is coming early since we have fjord clima! The best seasons is mid winter, spring, some few weeks in summer, and the fall! There is alot of weather, and sometime I wonder why I live here, but when the blue sky shines, and you are on the way to a special place, you know you do the right thing! But as said there is for special interested people! The other hand, you make good moeney you can save, and then use some few of your 5 weeks holiday (+ moving holidays) go to a better place! If you have family, there is not a better place to live and rise your kids! Safe, healthy, alot of nature, and free schools (well you pay tax) Enough said there is options for those who have the right skills and interest´s.
