On a night a "while back" I was asked to ground crew "something".... I could not because of commitments, but I offered my house and my services if things did not go as planned.

At 3:30 AM there is a loud pounding on my door and my dog barks.

My neighbor's toilet malfunctioned and they needed in my loft to do emergency repairs. I don't know if I was happy or sad that it was the maintenance guy and I was in other types of deep shit.

my roomies are alright... I like them. apes they may be. one just got his first jump not 2 days ago... he did great. free-fall assist.

Saw a good one on the show Las Vegas a while back. Some chick said her husband died on a BASE trip at Angel Falls. When someone said sorry he died jumping, she said, "Oh, the jump didn't kill him, he got hit by an ice cream truck on his way to bring his rental rig back. Thought that one was pretty good.
