Yea, I know this is a bit goofy but it's for a good cause. Apex base has been kind enough to donate a nice, shiny new DP for me to wear during the event. If you live near Salt Lake City, you should come participate. I will be climbing a total of 19,734 stairs and I'm trying to raise $1 per stair. I know base jumpers have tons of money lying around which is why we spend so much of it on our gear Hook it up and donate some funds to the American Lung Association.

Greetings!

I am collecting donations for the American Lung Association and getting volunteers to climb with us on Saturday, March 22, 2008. Join me for this event to raise money to support lung disease education, programs and research. We will be climbing the stairs at the Wells Fargo Center to show support for the American Lung Association and to let the public know that asthma is a growing problem that needs to be cured.

Most participants will do this race up the 23 floors of the Wells Fargo building only one time, I will attempt this task 33 times in a row! Follow the link at the bottom of this e-mail to my personal fund raising page and it will explain in more detail. Please take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to check this out.

Not terribly surprising, right? They give you a rig and you climb a building. Not much of a leap from there...

I was under the impression that you WERE going to jump the building after each ascent as publicity for the event.
