All you wingsuiters out there get over to Italy this April. I just bought my tickets for the april 3-17. I would like to spend at least a solid week jumping ITW but that depends if we get enough people to make car shuttling/taxi rides cost effective. Usually there are jumpers on the weekends, but not so much during the week. If we have 5-10 people around, the taxi is not a bad option. Who wants in?!

What are the taxi costs and capacities at the moment?

My friend and I spent a lot of time thinking about how to do that most effectively while driving from the ITW to the Valley for midweek jumping.

With the taxi costs, capacities; rental car and diesel prices we had then, it would've worked out better to get 4 small rental cars (like the small Lancia hatchback) between 5 jumpers, if you figure 3 jumps a day.

I'm not sure if that is entirely realistic for April, as the weather might not let you get 3 jumps a day.

I'll also be surprised if you can find 5 jumpers who want to get up early every day, do 3 hikes a day, go to bed late and do that for 6 days straight...

finally I have to add this: fotutto stroncolo and vive la frenchy route!

gonna be there about from 7th till 12th, if nothing unexpected happens. So don't care about a driver...

i bet they will!
i heard getting to verona heliport is tricky but making milan is super hardcore!
you'll need a glide of at least 7:1.
and a super mach 1.

I may get killed for this but here goes. ITW is on the island of Sicila. The locals are very protective of their site and they have connections. If you do not go through the locals or one that has you will have problems.
More research on your end would probably help your case.

hm. how can you be "THERE" if you don't even know where it is?

a pity Tom didn't look at the url I posted, before he deleted my last post. But probably its better that way, coz base283 would be definately killed if he jumps there. As well as anybody else who tries to jump the crater of the biggest mountain on island of Sicila.
