Had my first water landing i almost made it to the 5 foot landing area i was tryin to sink it into but fell about 2 feet short and landed in knee deep water. got lucky and my canopy fell forward onto dry land but my lowa boots are soaked. wondering if there are any tricks to drying boots faster?

1) buy a boot dryer [for sking or snowboarding]

or

2) stuff them with newspaper to absorb the moisture.

I would eat 2 or 3 pounds of beans and then sit on your boots.
Farts caused by beans are very dry and can absorb moisture very effectifly.

i just had all four of my wisdom teeth takin out and i cant even eat so farting them dry is out the question

newspaper worked really good dryed my boots in less than a day in time for a night jump

Stick them in the oven, no joke!
Just don't crank the oven on 275 C°

Go to Skydive the Farm and put them in the dryer

A hair dryer works pretty well. I didn't know about the newspaper trick. I'll file that away for later use.

i wash my hanwags once a year, take out the insoles, and use strong detergent in a standard washing machine. then i put a fan on them, rotating them whenever i remember. usually takes 1-3 days for total dryness.

This was a trick question with an easy answer...the fastest way to dry them is by not getting them wet in the first place!

Take a bunch of silica gel packets and stuff your boots full of them. Dont know where you will find a abundant supply of silica laying around, but it should work pretty good.

I have used a hair dryer before, just make sure all the air going into the boot has somewhere to get out other wise you'll melt the hairdryer
I have gotten heaps of silica gel from a mate that works at a camera store, apparently film comes packed with heaps of it so you should be able to get heaps for free to give it a go.
