made my first real solo on friday the 13th. I got a lecture from a more senior base friend after pulling that move, the solo part not the superstition part.

I say screw superstition, If you had a ritual or were spooked to jump because something changed, or somebody said something hairy, your head would never be right.

If things are good in your head and your rig then they are good, forget other people fears.

Whatever it is, make sure you jump with a stick of butter and upon landing, bite it.

You may forget the jump one day, but you'll never forget the first time you bite off half a stick of butter. I wrote a song about it once.

Please tell us there hasn't been a 2nd stick.

haha i also did my 13th jump on friday the 13th (first A). quit being superstitious after that : ).
