I've bought them from Paragear before. I have some floating around here. Every Perigee I've ever owned has had a hidden loop sewn in for placing them (for use with a front mount reserve, I think), as has every Perigee I've ever looked for it on. With that in mind, I'd ask Asylum.

What is a "soft RW1/82" ring.

Booth bought a batch of rings that made it through QC with out being heat tempered. I don't know if they had and real incedents but there was fear that they would deform under load. They are "soft". It was all stamped 82. Some are good some are bad. In theory you can tell by tapping on them. Im truth you cant tell shit till you cut them off the rig so you can really hear them ring. The big fix was to cut them off and put the remorables on. Just go find an old rig.
