Re: [IDreamofBase] chord placement
Just loops from thumb to thumb & foot to foot. I use 5 mil bungee from a climbing shop.

Re: [IDreamofBase] chord placement
I do not have any wingsuit jumps
but I am pretty sure they work just
like the 'swoop cords' on a regular
set of wings.

The difference between a sail and
a flag is whether the trailing edge
is taut.

When I spread my arms and apply
pressure to the cords on my camera
jacket the wings become more firm,
maximizing their surface area, and
helping them to maintain their shape
to increase overall air resistance.

Re: [donkeyboy] chord placement
If you really want to see improvement put the bungy from thumb, down through the middle rear belt loop, then back out to the other thumb.

When you do this, you will be able to spread your arms more straight out and still get increased wing-surface area, instead of having to keep a bend in your arms to keep the added wingsurface area. also, by being able to keep your arms straighter, the glide seems to be better (I'm guessing this is because the wingspan is greater, while maintaining wingsurface area).

I've found that the tighter the bungy the better, until its so tight that you can't reach shit or it hurts. Hope this helps, and just another FYI: DO NOT USE BUNGYS WITH METAL HOOKS AT THE END... THEY CAN CRUSH YOUR NERVES... AND THAT SUCKS.
