just wanted to share.

This event has been taking place for years, in what was originally a hangar for a prototype airship.

there was also paragliding (rollovers) going on there for awhile.

the second one looks like YoYo! I woulfd really like to go to a tropical paradise in the muddle of the winter, in germany!

Hundreds of ... great jumps, nice landings and freaky people in a gret location! But then, today morning, the lookback out of the ugly rainy reality... it was hard. the dream is over

super nice event with the best organisation ever.
thanx to TIR, all chief organisators ,mahle,jojo, ulli,caro etc.etc. and all the little helpers. without them such an event is not possible.
it was a pleasure to share the jumps and the time with all the jumpers and people around

Interesting to to see such good accuracy skills of so many jumpers, and to see how many that actually got really serious about their accuracy in the end of the competition.

Ha, sounds to me that the german Luftwaffe have a new problem, Harry it is on us to clear this!....No prob Robi we will strike back soon on the longer delays! :)

So, from me as well, I was impressed by this very well organization and overall constant skills of any jumpers. And by the way, the russian import from James dances the payed partychicks back into the stoneage....:)

I´m sure we can handle a drunken 20-way on the slide next year!

Luftwaffe members Mirko Harry and Jurgen are knights of the sky. I enjoy to fight w them and shoot them down, but always this Geezengen come from nowere and make few holes on my wings!! now shoot down an old man without warning!! The revenge will be strong!!

Sheep are white and behave like you guys at the exit - and landing in a tree: you dont have any proof of that, but if i look at your video - which i have to admit is pretty good- there is a lot of footage of poor canopy skills ......so the UBS doesn´t know what you guys are talking about.....looks like we need to have a battle somewhere at the exit to clear things up......name the place and the time and you guys will drive home like this

you all had been a magic and outstanding World BASE Team.

And Tropical Islands had been a wonderful host.

I'm still overwhelmed, not fully realizing what we've done yet.

Personally I would like to add some credit here to Miles Daisher who scored the same as Johnny Utah on 3rd place but got 4th because of his training round score (that's hard and thankless German judging reality).

But of course he should be named 3rd and he should get the first prize for the most accurate BASE swooping guy south of Berlin ever. I'm sure we gonna find a trophy for him.

Puh, what a show, I'm still not back to the real world.

Folks, please leave the palm trees, tents, bars, swimming pools and shuttlecars to their original ... and don't forget to look at the white board ...

Miles was absolutely awesome and put on a really good show with the swoops and resulting accuracy. And super nice with it too.

Mahle. Just out of interest, who posted the highest ranking out of those who freefell all 6 rounds. To be fair, they deserve a medal too for accuracy under much greater pressure?

of course the pressure was more as I can personally confirm.

But as I said at the safety briefing: We need a safe event and a remarkable show.

Mission accomplished I would say for all who helped to make it looking easy.

And if PCA was the weapon to match the challenge it was the best thing this particular jumper could do.

Respect to all of them who decreased their ego to produce a better outcome.

I'm sure we would have had much more problems if the people wouldn't have been that responsible.

So folks, we leave it there as it was perfect. And keep in mind that it was everyones free choice and the conditions where all the same for everybody.

But what's even more important than a ranking list: We all had been winners making this event happening and giving BASE a new level of recognition here in this country.

oh really!? i remember this one article in the newspaper in kl last year...there was a picture of a member of the ubs (sitting in a 100ft tall tree) and the text was saying: "this is xxxxx xxxxxxxx from germany who failed to control his parachute and landed in a tree."

yeah,...the battle goes on...

Ey Harry, Bosnia-Bob needs to be shoot down again by the german Luftwaffe....can remember that they lost at Brento last trip! I think the loss sits deep in the croatian mind?! :) Did both fly a VX against our V1 and V2....and lost?....hm, ... everytime when I think on that race I have to grap my balls and smile! :)

.....as it was pointed before, croatian air force neutralized all that advantage of german luftwaffe ducks and UBS ground FLAK force with one simple rollover and got the winning point over entire luftwaffe quad!!

Jojo, you should know better.......we are talking about Frankie, and he landed in a tree on purpose, so he gets all the media attention and a picture of himself in the newspaper.......we dont want to start talking about media and all that stuff - but he didnt fail to control his parachute, he controlled it superb and managed a perfect tree landing for the reason mentioned above......now thats what i call canopy skills.......

To all you botanic low level flyers ...

Mahle, thanks a lot for the great time and helping me with my own little personal troubles, like showing up with no risers, and losing my passport, travel papers, money, etc. I guess you deserved to put a cigar in your mouth, although that makes you look like german maffia.

I did 3 PCA's and the rest freefall, but I lacked in canopy skills on my brand new sponsored troll... sorry about that.

To compensate, I did a two-way in the blue tube tobogan with Nick (or Ben, I don't remember as they look so similar) from Belgium. Now, that is a blast, talking about acceleration.

In short, I hope one day there will be IBWC II.

Also funny to read all this....It looks like a hot and fast summer will come over us and bring some great airborne fights....Harry, the german Luftwaffe needs to reload all weapons and be ready for fights behind the scene! Think Bosnia Bob lost his wingman and is now easy to shoot down! Forget his actually propaganda...its just the dark plan...

new weapon coming out from croatian garage... testing is in progress and better make good shelter and protection around the pilot seats cause you will be heavily demage by croatina air force and my allies... stane is 3 weeks away from 1st flight, so even UBS was shooting like pussy--

well, warfare stearted last year and because the weather is bad we are forced to seat on the ground and threat to each other.
luftwaffe is respectful force so i am using all i have to calm them down...

...yeah, Luftwaffe knows all these tricks and can handle it...cause we are professionals! :))))

well Gee just got back from jumping some nice objects.......looks like the Croatian airforce needs, to focus more on jumping than spending time on the internet.....we once made that mistake and focused on other things, we all know the end of the story.......by the way Robi, your body position while you are shooting is almost as bad as when you did your PCA´s in the Tropical - no offense - but like that you wouldnt even shoot a lame duck, thats walking in front of you.....
