Ok, so the telephone company, who maintains the DirecTV wires in my walls for my loft (don't ask) - finally got the news that HD Television is the wave of the future and upgraded the wires.

So I got myself an HD DVR to replace my old Tivo, and the first program the thing found per my keywords - was the IMAX, Adrenaline Rush...

Now I saw it on DVD, and I saw it in the theatre... But.... The HD makes the visuals almost like the theatre. Just, as always, turn off the audio and play your favorite music. (It is a nice refreshing change to see HD BASE when most of what you see is a $400 camcorder highly compressed on youtube)

Since I cannot record onto anything in my house at the HD quality to show, the best I could do was take a picture of my TV. LAME I know...

But yes, that is very nice looking. Base footage usually has amazing visuals. I imagine the real thing will look pretty nice, too

Well, I used the super high tech hyperlink technology from 1989 Netscape era technology to mask the domain name with the word "lame link" because it is fun to click on lame words... But yes, that is where you might find the same photo without the word lame. You got a problem with it???? If this site allowed attachments, I might have actually uploaded it here instead...

Is this video any good? I found it at our local "space and science centre" the other day. Worth buying?

Yes, I think the movie is worth watching.
I saw it in IMAX and own a copy on DVD.
FYI - This was long before I even thought
about visiting the darkside.
