im thinking about starting base jumping, but i have a few questions first before i begin
1. how do i get back up after I've jumped
2. how do i stop myself from hitting the side of what ever im jumping off of
3. how do i know how much rope i need to jump off of an object with out hitting the ground
4. is there anything else i should know about it before i begin

This may sound silly, but here goes anyway. I am hardly qualified to answer your question, but from what you have said, I must very cautiously ask you the following: are you sure base jumping is what you are looking for? Are you certain you are not thinking of bungee jumping instead?

Yes, a lot, that is why it is such a difficult sport to get into

6. do i get more ladies when i become a base jumper

Yes, a lot, that is why it is such a difficult sport to get into

7. is it fun

not really, it is mainly about looking cool.

8. what color on a canopy have the best opening
red is the most dynamic by far; it also sells well. on the other hand, pink is way slow (i have pink on one of mine, so i know how slow it is); you want a good ground rush, go pink.

9. do i need any skydive before i start base

that's a big nono; mere mention of the word on the british and french internet forums is grounds for banning; the germans are slightly more tolerant. Blinc has an automated editing system which will delete the word whenever it is typed.

10. is it fun

you obviously lack short term memory; it is a good quality for BASE.

11. is 3,2,1 cya good karma before i jump or maybe i could say 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 cya around someplace

You heard wrong; when they said F1-11 they were referring to green dope... Could be a new kind mind you I havn't smoked in so long, and even then I can't remember everything that menu at the bulldog had on it... Back on track, we're talking parachutes here.

hey..rope has everything to do with base....i measured my low jump with climbing rope

Climbing rope? Static, I hope...

(although, in retrospect, all a dynamic rope is going to do is make you think the object is lower than it actually is...)

i must do something wrong, my lady situation haven`t change radically since i started with this madness...maybe i need to be more "radical" in my moves(aerials,wingsuits...etc) radical methods for radical changes
