anyone made a ski base this year? this season? not me, not yet.

Here's what we need to do this year.
We get a 100 foot long pole or something, attach it to the wall sticking straight out horizontally under the jump ramp. Then we see who can hit the jump the fastest to clear 100 feet horizontally before dropping.
Or even better, we build the jump ramp back 100 feet from the cliff edge. That way if you don't make it you land again, stick it and then pop the cliff!

Base jump with skis? Crazy.

if you were smart you would use the pole as a rail to slide on. NOw that would be PHAT

i've got 2 pairs of 255cm jump skis sitting in the storage unit that are itching for some air time. they might clear your 100 feet or make for a really sketchy jump. either way sounds fun

Anyone who wants to ski-BASE in the alps, anytime this winter, PM me. My ski-BASE partner isn't around any more...
Happy to show a few great spots... don't care how many BASE jumps you have as long as you're an excellent skier with a backcountry brain.
