Does anybody know how to put videos on the internet without the viewing audience being able to download the videos put up on the internet?

If people can view it... they can save it, one way or another. It might not be the exact file you put up, or the same quality, but anyone can get and save the video to their hard drive!

Perhaps some funky flash-based solution will work. Not Youtube, as that is straight FLV and can be ripped fairly easily... Maybe you can use something more obscure, or something that doesn't use the FLV format. Revver or Liveleak might work. Although they may use the plain FLV format, rippers for them may not be as popular as rippers for youtube. Maybe this is enough protection for you.

You could also try to look into streaming media. As much as it pains me to say it, maybe streaming realvideo or some other streaming encrypted DRM-laden solution is what you are looking for. But I don't know if you are willing to pay for something like this.

It depends on what you are trying to do and how hard you are willing to work to keep people from saving your video. Ultimately, it is impossible to achieve 100% protection, as the viewer can always do something ridiculous like fullscreening the video and recording the monitor output.
