So I was watching TV when...
So I'm sitting around watching a recorded episode of Law & Order, and about 45 minutes into it, there is an interesting commercial. I see an ad for something called "Tru TV", which looks like a TV network for the classic sensationalized incident shows. The ad itself is just a montage of extreme clips with that familliar sensational narration, and before I can reach for the 'skip' button, an interesting sight comes on screen: a BASE jumper going off an E. Interesting... (The actual jump they showed was only a few seconds long. I've still got it in my DVR if anyone wants a screencap or something like that - PM me)

Their web site is here: http://www.trutv.com/video/
But, I couldn't find the particular clip they used in that commercial, nor can I find the commercial online (but I guess I didn't look all that hard).

Does anybody out there know anything about this?

The network looks like it has shows about dumb criminals, exploding drug labs, falling trucks, etc. What could they possibly want with BASE jumping? CoolIf they do end up showing BASE video, I only hope that they don't portray jumpers as some sort of irresponsible crazies.

TrueTV is the new name of CourtTV. They specialize in showing videos of actual events. I have also seen the base clip you are talking about, and it was on a show they had about extreme sports, the portrayal of base was pretty neutral.
