Re: [UberChris] head down experience
Not completely but definitely head low. Same with jump number two. Then I got some great advice.

Imagine there's a balloon suspended 2 feet above you and 2 feet infront of you at the exit point and imagine you have a spike on top of your helmet. When you exit, imagine you're trying to pop the balloon with the spike. That did it for me and got me exiting correctly.

Oh, and don't look down at the ground. Look at a point on the horizon and keep looking at it until you need to take control of your canopy.

I was told to try and catch the bar, but your advice is better. Very cool.

Sorry about the poor scanning; on my way out and did it in a rush...

Re: [UberChris] head down experience
The advice for me, many years before I did my first jump, was to imagine a wall 2ft in front of you and to try to hit that wall with your chest first.

Worked for me Cool

Re: [UberChris] head down experience
I went a little head down on my first. I think it was from trying to push off straight away to get horizontal seperation. My rotation during takeoff continued into the initial freefall...
