Re: [TomAiello] So Much To Learn...

My personal rule is that you have to be geared up and at the exit point, then decide to walk off. If you walk off due to wind after gearing up and getting to the exit, I'd count it. If you call it off for wind while you're still in the parking lot, I wouldn't.
Not that anyone cares about the technicalities and nit-picking... But lets do it anyway...
Say an earth object. You climb 1.5 hours. You get to the exit. You take the gear out of the stash bag, throw some paper, wait 30 minutes, then put the gear in the stash bag and downclimb for another 1.5 hours. Does that count, even though the gear was never on, but you invested half a day on tthe trip.
How about a building - you put on your gear, you get past the locked gates, you are on your way to the exit, but the winds change and you abandon ship before getting to the exit, having to get out without being caught.
How about an antenna. You get to 250 feet (planning on jumping at 400) and climb down after throwing paper....
Not that it is a big deal - but how close to the exit do you have to be, and does the gear have to be all the way on ready to jump?
