Re: [Hausse] Toledo, OH crew?
Contrary to popular belief, not every active Base jumper uses the internet.
According to your profile on DZ.com, you have 30-40 skydives. I would classify you as over-anxious. The problem most crews are going to have with that is how "dependable" are you going to be. 1st off, most guys that have just started skydiving, can't keep their mouths shut about their accomplishments in skydiving. So, if they do get invited to GC, they can't keep their mouths shut about that either.
What I've seen so far;
1. They run around and brag to everybody that they're going on a Base jump.
2. They come back from a jump, and brag to their buddies about everything including telling everybody where the object is.
3. They get pissed off because they think that GC means they're going to get to watch the jump. More times than not, this isn't the case. This is also where the biggest case of being dependable comes in.
4. If they do get invited to go again. They show up with one of their buddies or girlfriend.
5. Most folks time schedules won't revolve around your's, it will be the other way around..
6. Etc., Etc.
