24hrs. World Record
Hi all,

Is it right that the actuell Worldrecord in 24hr. are 201 Jumps!?

Does anybody knows how many rigs, packers he had
or does anybody has more details about this record?

Would like to do beat it.... ;-)

Thx

Re: [Swondpooper] 24hrs. World Record
He did it here, in Twin Falls. He actually closed down a lane of traffic and parked a crane on the bridge, to hoist himself out for each jump. I'm not sure of the actual number of rigs or packers, but lots of each.

For what it's worth, I think he actually made his 201 jumps in more like 20 hours--he stopped early to try to mitigate the impact on traffic over the bridge.

If you want details, PM JTHolmes. He was one of the main organizers of that event.

I think there was somewhere in between 10-15 packers and about the same amount of rigs if I remember correctly. 22hrs I think.

damn that would cost quite a bit to hire a crane for 22 hours.

Re: [Maxim] 24hrs. World Record
I believe the crane was donated. The event was done as a charity fundraiser for a military support organization.

Miles Daisher holds the record for most unassisted (in the sense that he hiked up each time, and wasn't hoisted) BASE jumps in a day. I believe the number was 57 jumps in that 24 hour period.

Re:24hrs. World Record
so... who has the record for "less than legal" jumps in one go?

that's more interesting to me.
