Jumpers for TV-project
This is an open call to all base-jumpers and -crews out there.

I signed a development deal with major Hollywood producers and we are now working on base-jumping -related feature length movie and a TV-series.

We have already locked some of our athletes, but we also have room for some new fresh talent.

(I have not personally jumped in a couple of years and i don't have hands-on experience about "who-is-doing-what" these days and that's the reason for this open post.)

We are looking for interesting, positive and talented characters.

If you are interested to work on the show, PM me.

We would need these following items:

1. At least two images:

- Full face image
- in action image

2. Your personal Bio / resume

- Your personal history
- What motivates you?
- Dreams you have etc.

3. You athlete Bio / Resume

- Experience level
- How did you get into the sport?
- Strong special skills?
- Etc.

4. Personal web-site, if you have one

Please pass this message forward to all jumpers who, in your opinion, would represent our sport the best.

Thank you

iiro

WHO FUCKING CARES.

What are you guys going to do something stupid (AGAIN) like dayblaze the ESB with a huge camera crew and helicopters.

JUST go away iiro. Real jumpers dont jump for cameras. I really hope nobody on here is going to go in for this corny triple 7 crap.

HEY iiro your a magician make yourself disapear and never come back on here again. Really just buzz off. Just take your $$$$$$$$$ that you seem to have, more so than the average real jumper on her, and never post here again.

Or at least that's what i think.

Nothing makes a point like incoherent babbling about Real Base Jumpers (tm), followed by a personal attack on the basis of -- wait for it -- how much money Iiro has?

Hope you get some better responses on this, Iiro.

Funny, and somewhat expected, message!!!

ESB was what it was and there is no excuses.

In my opinion, better examples of the type of projects we are now doing are: 'Journey to the Center' or 'The Courier'.

My intention was not to announce future projects on this forum, but rather to give an equal opportunity for all base-jumpers to be considered for the up-coming projects.

I can only assure you, they will promote our sport, and its athletes, in a very positive light.

I also fully understand the motivation behind those jumpers who will rather decide to remain underground; jumpers who are quiet about their craft and let the jumping do all the talking on their behalf. Nothing but respect for you all.

I'm also hoping those same jumpers will understand that as much as you would want base-jumping to 'disappear' (hehehe) from all media, it is not going to happen. My own solution is to make films that will promote our sport and make everyone look good.

I really don't want to get in the middle of heated arguments about base-jumping and its position in media outlets.

If this is not for you - it is all good, just ignore this message and change the channel when its on.

(If you want to continue talking about the etchics and the philosophy of base, let's do it private. You can PM me, but please don't hide behind pseudonym.)

Thanks for all the interest and e-mails i've received!

It has been amazing to re-discover how unique- and fantastic characters we have within our sport.

Hi iiro,
We met up at CBS studios when you and Pete came in to shoot some of the green screen for The Courier with my friend Mike, the producer that worked with you on it. I wish you luck on your project. I guess if you listened to what everyone told you to do, you would not be where you are today. Much respect to you. Again, good luck.

Good luck with the project Iiro although your track record would suggest you won't need it!. Sounds like a wonderful opportunity for the lucky candidates.

I guess the detractors have a chip on their shoulder and haven't really cut it anywhere, anytime....
