OK, so everyone or anyone who thinks they have any idea about anything that should or should not be true and false needs to see how far they can get in this quiz. writing down the answers is cheating.

Dude, I am sending you a bill for the wasted time this morning.

I got pretty far, but found that when I was too sloppy to keep my mouse out of the blue on an early question, I decided I needed to wait a week or two before wasting my time...

But since the winds in our neck of the woods are blowing 78 MPH, I guess I should play more tonight instead of packing, huh?

winds last night were gusty, but between 30 and 80 k/h due west in the park next to my house. temps were about 12' C.

re-trimmed (for -less- power) and flew a 26meter paraglider as a kite.

1115kg of force is what we recorded. and thats after we trimmed it for less power. (we broke the glider) but learned a lot. like said before, the goal is to stack a few of these and then use it as a "Elevator to No-Where"(tm) for 'BASE' jumps.

can't say we did the tree anchor any good

but it was 4 hours of FUN.

the noise was AMAZING. it sounded like a swooping skydiver for 4 hours.

Dude - that poor tree. If you are not careful with these winds, you are likely to pull the whole planet out of alignment with your glider.

p.s. your facebook profile appears to be hidden, I wanted to see other poor trees being damaged, but I can't click any of the links or anything... Or did you register me on your blacklist as an evil base jumper so I could not see your photos?

p.s.s. I have to admit it. Due to weekend late evening jumping activities, I was in bed last night before sunset. I had to catch up. Although it looks like you had more fun than I, at least last night. I could hear the wind in the elevator shaft outside my door!

Question. Who is going to BASE jump in 80 k/h winds? I would be hauling ass so quickly backwards under my big ass canopy....

there is no way I would ascend under a glider in that much wind. the wind I am looking for will be;

on ground- 5-15
at 1000' 20-50.

last night on ground they were 20-50. at 200' where the wing achieved almost 3000lbs force, they were more like 70mph.

as for facebook, its an elitist community. more so than even Dropzone.com. you have to register and make your own profile, then ask me to be facebook friends. and if you pass certain exams I will accept you, then you can see my profile.

P.S. when you get the system working - can I jump it? I am kind of regretting selling my last Paraglider suddenly.

if it ever works maybe. its just ideas. I have to much time on my hands but not enough time to do anything.

as for the centrifugal space elevator, as cool of an idea as it is, doubt it will ever happen, much less in the next 50 years. even the orion project is struggling for money.

Oh man. This is how I spent my finals study time. At one point, it got very frustrating, so I ended up decompiling the thing and skipping back when needed . After having seen the whole game, I am convinced of one thing: the author of this flash is a truly evil, evil person. If you got to the end (or thereabouts) you know what I am talking about.
