Han Wag boots
In case anyone is interested, I found this guy while searching for Han Wag's. He is very helpful and responsive and has them in stock! Not trying to post and add for him but I had a hard time finding them........

"I have direct link to Hanwag and might even become the new US
distributor. Please spread the word that I am the man who has stock on
the shelf. I have over 20 pairs at present and am about to order about
10 more pairs to fill some holes.

New invoice will come soon...

Re: [kusgra] Han Wag boots
I tried on both Hanwags and Crispi's at the same time.

I found the Crispi's much more comfortable for my foot...and would suggest others try on both for a side to side comparison if possible as well.

Re: [kusgra] Han Wag boots
Hi All,

Thanks to Kusgra for the plug. I have been in the Hang Gliding and Paragliding business for over 20 years. I have sold Crispi and Hanwag boots and several others that were not quite up to snuff.

Over time, Hanwags have shown to be the best built boot I have ever seen. Crispi is a not too distant 2nd, but I have seen their seams not hold up as long in the long run as the Hanwags.

The US distributor for the HG, PG and Base jumping quit about 6 months ago. I contacted Hanwag to find out how to keep some on the shelf and have an arrangement with them to be able to buy direct, albeit not being a distributor "yet".

In any case, I have 20 pairs on the shelf now and 12 more coming soon. I was not going to keep so much on the shelf, but everyone keeps telling me that I am the only one with any stock on hand. I am in the process of trying to become the US distributor.

In any case, I presently stock two models:

Super Fly GTX - Heavier Duty Soles and most common used by SkyDiving, Base Jumping and the PG / HG pilots. Wider range of sizes available.

Fly GTX - Lighter Duty Soles. Nearly as much ankle support and energy absorbtion in the heel, but sole will not last as long, but will be better for scrambling and "wow" are they comfortable. Size range is building as pilots find out how great this boot is.
